As the owner of Batson Group Marketing and PR for 20+ years, I help clients meet their personal and business recognition goals with press releases, promotional materials, gift incentives and social media marketing. Through a series of workshops, presentations and talks I share what I have learned to help bring business to businesses.
My career path has always had a creative bent - from clothing boutique manager, artist and gallery sales and management, commercial and residential interior designer, market researcher for a non-profit, to Director of Marketing for two software companies and more.
As the owner of BGMPR my clients cover a broad spectrum of industries – technology, health care, consumer retail goods and services, non-profits, publishing and literary.
Originally from Baltimore and raised in Miami Beach, I graduated from the University of Florida. GO GATORS!
I love to travel and now live in Raleigh, NC with my husband Jon Batson, singer/songwriter, lyricist, author, and non-fiction publisher.
I was on the Board of Directors for the North Carolina Songwriters’ Co-Operative for 3 years, the Director of their 2007 Annual Songwriting Contest. And for a lark I decided to produce the 2009 Raleigh House Concert Series.
Currently, I’m on the Board of Directors for Women’s Power Networking: Coffee and Contacts and on the steering committee of their Annual Women Helping Women Expo in Raleigh.
